Thanks for stopping by! My name is Nina and I’m a lifelong artist in many forms. I’m currently at Academy of Art University majoring in Visual Development; I find it encompasses many of the mediums and industries I’m interested in, namely stop motion animation. I’m also in my last year of a computer science degree. I specialize in visual storytelling, character and prop design, and illustration.

It’s hard to pin down my style, but I especially enjoy creating art that blends historical inspiration with modern design. I am inspired by 19th-century engravings and calligraphy in much of my linework. At the same time, I also love working with modern and graphic typography and Bauhaus-esque styles.

In the design world, I’ve collaborated with many small organizations on packaging and branding and I interned on the strategy team at 2x4, one of the largest design firms in the country, working on branding presentations for Hyundai, Chanel and Prada, among others.

Besides visual art, I like to spend my free time roller skating, hosting tea parties, learning new languages, and collecting tarot decks. Please reach out if you are interested in collaborating with me, I am always interested in checking out new projects!
